On December 26th 2011 the Tesla Coil played a major part in the tv-show "De Nationale Wetenschapsquiz" ("The National Sciencequiz"). On this tv-show, the Tesla Coil stood in a protective cage in the recordingstudio, where showhost Rob van Hattum took on the challenge of battling the lightning inside the cage. The tv-show was watched by 792.000 people.
